Throughout a 30+ year tenure with Blach, Ken’s proven capabilities as a builder, augmented by natural leadership skills, have led him to supervise many of the company’s largest and most demanding projects. In his role as vice president & general superintendent, Ken directs all field operations including all of Blach’s craft workers, carpenters and superintendents.
Ken is also active in the company’s award-winning safety program. He has worked with every employee of the company, ensuring that each individual is engaged in Blach’s dedication to safety. In 2010 and 2011, the AGC of California honored Blach as the #1 safety program in California. The program later earned the #3 national ranking by the AGC of America.
Ken is an active, long term member of the Carpenter’s Local No. 217 and a board member of the Northern California Counties Carpenters Joint Apprenticeship Committee, which he has chaired multiple times.
