New Multi-use use Classroom Buildings at four campuses
In 2010, Blach provided preconstruction and Lease-leaseback services for the District’s $20 million program at four elementary school sites. The program included the construction of a new multi-purpose building, designed to meet CHPS criteria, on each of the four campuses.
The program featured a new multi-purpose building on two of the four campuses, an 11,000 s.f. two-story music and technology building and a large classroom building. These projects were designed to meet the sustainable building standards set by the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) Program.
Additional work, including extensive classroom building, library and science laboratory modernizations for the District, were performed on aggressive and fast-track schedules in the Summers of 2010 and 2011.
The Blach team is collaborating with the District to perform future upgrades to its four campuses.
