Multidisciplinary Building & Fine Arts Center
The new building, expected to achieve LEED Silver certification, is located on the San Jose City College campus and includes several multi-disciplinary classrooms for fine arts and photography, laboratories for the visual and performing arts programs, staff offices, student services, various site work and landscaping.
Blach Construction and AEDIS Architecture & Planning completed the 48,000 s.f. multidisciplinary classroom building for the San Jose/Evergreen Community College District this August.
New Student Union Building
The Blach team is nearing the completion of the new health center at San Jose State University, which is using pull scheduling (part of Lean construction).

Fitness & Classroom Complex
In 2013, Blach was awarded a new fitness and classroom building complex at Evergreen Valley College, located in south San Jose.
Working with long-time design partner HMC Architects, Blach will provide Lease-Leaseback Services for the construction of a state-of-the-art fitness center and two-story academic and laboratory classroom building.
The 58,000 s.f. development will help meet the needs of the College’s growing student population, which now exceeds 30,000 students.
Los Altos Surgical Center
Blach Construction, recently partnered with Sutter Health to build a 9,000 s.f. two-story clinic in Los Altos.
The new, ground-up building, operated by Sutter Health affiliate Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF), includes an OSHPD-3 surgery center, exam rooms, support staff space and doctors’ offices.
Hawley Peterson Snyder Architects, Blach's design partner for this project, envisioned this state-of-the-art facility to look and feel like a "mountain retreat" to blend with the local architecture of adjacent businesses and residences.
