Transit-Oriented Mixed-Use Development

A joint venture with Cahill Construction, Blach developed this almost ten-acre transit-orientated destination on the current Millbrae BART Station site, one of the most heavily trafficked transportation hubs in the Bay Area. The Gateway at Millbrae Station comprises 220,000 sq.ft. of retail & office space, a 164-room, 5-story hotel with a 1st-floor restaurant, 60,000 sq.ft. of 80 affordable apartments, and 464,000 sq.ft. of 300 market-rate and 20 affordable apartments. Extensive parking and a dog park will also complement the new development, which will also provide a new downtown promenade for the City of Millbrae.
